I made a promise to Francis.  I will not stop, I will not give in, and I will not allow any person, embassy, rule, or civil injustices have the final say in our life together. 

Despite the 8561.5 miles between us…love finds a way.

I’m a citizen of the US, he’s a citizen of Canada.  We’re forced to go back and forth, EVERY 6 months.  So many laws to keep us apart, none to keep us together.  Change DOMA!

I moved to UK December 2008 to be with my wonderful partner Keith. We had hoped to be together in Seattle in America but US immigration laws do not allow for same sex partner sponsorship. Since the UK does allow, we decided that I would move here. While England is a great place, we do so love our home back in America and want more than anything to come home to live out our lives as a couple!

Some of my friends no longer can see their families in other countries.  Everyone deserves to be human and see the people who love them most!

UNITED BY LOVE, DIVIDED BY LAW

We have been madly in love since the day we met, PLEASE END DOMA so we can legally be together, get married adopt a child and start our future without the fear of deportation. We are only asking for the same rights that all heterosexual couple are afforded. You can’t help who we fall in love with and when it comes, you have to take it as it is.  True love only comes once!

Happy Pride Week, Everyone! Let’s demand equality for ALL American families!!  No one should be forced to choose between love or country!
